Open Palm Gloves

Recently appeared a blister and the skin was dead, but now there is a red crust that forms where the skin was?
I have recently started play golf and I had on gloves, so he formed a blister and popped right in my left hand where my middle finger meets the palm before could do nothing about it. Once I got home I washed the blister open, but that does not put any ointment or help banda / covering over it, but on the same night a hard crust and full of red forms in the skin that used to be. Not sure if this is normal or if infection is not harmful and not have signs of infection. So what is this? And I can get wet and not have to fall? Because I have to take a shower, but do not really want it to start all over again, so any suggestions?
This sounds like the body to begin the long process of building a callus. Keep the area clean and place antibiotic cream to prevent infection.
